The Moon Landing 40 Years Ago...

Ah, yes, I remember it well! I even took a picture of the moon from Cle Elum, WA on the first day a man stood on it.

Thanks to Mary Doman for the following:

For those of you currently following the real-time simulation of the Apollo 11 Moon mission 40 years ago on www.wechoosethemoon.org , please be advised that after the "landing" on July 20, the site will be available for you to access the mission at your own pace and convenience. This site will definitely be a valuable resource for those who wish to study and enjoy our first venture to another world!
