I was very glad to read that both political conventions had a larger viewing audience than the Oscars and American Idol. That's definitely a step in the right direction -- and is a NEW trend.
People are paying attention this year. I hope they're also visiting the candidates' websites to find out the truth about where each stands, because I've heard a lot of lies in campaign ads that misrepresent the facts.
