I spent five hours today putting up another third of the goat fence. This time Jackie and I got wire fencing--330' feet of it. OMG! It's so much harder to put up than the panels--but we're saving money this way. The goats are loving their expanded pasture. Good thing: the work is half-killing me! Anything for my goatlings...
If you'd like to contribute to the extension, I would surely appreciate any help you can give. It cost us $400 for this part. I THINK we have enough now to complete the circuit. If not we'll buy panels for the last few feet. I'm so battered and bruised from rolling wire and attaching clips, it's almost funny. I went to the doctor for a check-up and she was seriously concerned about all my bruises, until I said, "I have goats. 'Nuf said?" She just laughed and nodded.
I'll take additional photos soon so you can see how happy the goats are now. Thanks again for all your help to date (those of you who have contributed "bucks for my does" (the green kind).
