From Alice Walker to Barack Obama

http://www.theroot.com/id/48726?gt1=38002

I couldn't agree more, or have said it better...

Although I'm not black, I have had a burden laid on my heart for the black race for a very long time. I understood and shared their beautiful, long-held tears last night.

Finally!

America has come home to live out her creed "and justice for all."

But we're still in the foothills. It's a process and will take time. This economy and the other messes we're in won't be fixed overnight.

At least I feel we've made a smart start -- and today, my heart is singing praises!

Kristine;

I honestly think, after the last few months, you should sit down, relax, and have a beer.

I'm having one and I haven't done anything.
